This knife is a great piece, it is a second, while in production a small crack formed on the handle, at its very tip there is a slight rough part in the knife. This can be corrected with the proper tools and would be a good weekend project piece. There is some discoloration around the handle that can be cleaned with the proper solvents. Other than that the knife is in great shape, it comes with the leather sheath.
DATA: In 2007 United Cutlery went bankrupt. This company had hundreds of name brands. Many of the knifes were in various states of production and were "production samples", "Seconds" and or new, but older models dating from the late 1980's to the early 2000's. These rare and unusual items are all discontinued and are fantastic for collecting or filling in holes in a collection.
